Septic System Inspection
There are basically 2 types of On Site Sewage Facilities (OSSF) that is also known as the Septic System. There are also variations of these facilities.
The Conventional Septic System
The Aerobic Septic System
In the conventional system, there typically is no mechinical or moving parts with a single tank and leach lines that go to the disposal field.
In the Aerobic System, there are control panels, electrical pumps, and sprinkler heads in the disposal field that need to work assure proper disposal of waste.
Inspection Of The Septic Systems
The inspection of the Conventional System consists of doing a visual inspection of the tank and the components and to see if the tank needs to be emptied, repaired or serviced along with visually inspecting the leach field.
The inspection of the Aerobic System consists of doing a visual inspection of the multiple tanks, the components of the tanks, the control panel and the sprayer heads. If any repairs are needed, they are noted in the report.
